Coach Troy Mercer


AGAs Owner/Principle Instructor, Troy Mercer has been named the new Head Wrestling Coach of Dallas Christian School. He is a recent Graduate of Lyon College with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and Alum of Rockwall Heath HS. Troy is a decorated college and high school wrestler, applying his skills, confidence and discipline learned in wrestling to become a successful Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. Troy is still active in competition and continues to strive for success.

Coach Major Dodge 

Helping make Grappling become Generational


AGA’s Rockwall-Heath Elite Youth Head Coach, Major Dodge is a former college wrestler and MMA fighter. He’s an accomplished actor-producer with several projects under his belt. Major is excited to share his knowledge, skills and technique with the wrestling community.

Major wrestled for New Albany High School, IN before heading off to the University of Indianapolis to compete at the collegian level. He continued to use the skill set he developed to fight MMA.

Guest Coach Arman Mansouri


AGA Guest Instructor, Arman Mansouri is a current wrestler for Lyon College and Alum of Wylie High. He’s working on his Bachelor’s degree. He had a successful high school career and is growing his college resume. He will assist when he is available.

JB Bechtloff


AGA Instructor, JB Bechtloff is a current wrestler for Division II New Mexico Highlands University and Alum of Plano High. He’s a senior working on a Master’s in Exercise Science. JB is a Purple Belt, Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu specialist who started wrestling late in his high school career; using his BJJ skills and discipline to launch him into college wrestling. JB is still active in competition and is excited to share his knowledge, skills and technique.
